Deleting your account and data

You can delete your AlmostThere account yourself at any time, without asking us. Deletion is real — the data is not moved to an archive or hidden, it stops existing.

How to do it

1. 1Sign in — on almost-there.eu or in the app.
2. 2Open Settings (the link is in the app, below your goals).
3. 3At the very bottom choose “I want to delete my account”.
4. 4Type your email to confirm and click delete.

What is deleted

• —All goals, plans, tasks and records of ticked-off days
• —Images you uploaded to your goals, including the files on disk
• —Preferences, account details and sign-in credentials
• —Consents to the terms and to data processing

What remains, and why

• —Records of AI usage, which we use to calculate costs. They are detached from your account and keep only the model, token counts and price — nothing that could identify whose they were.
• —Records of payments made. Stripe holds these as the seller and the law requires them to be kept for the period set by tax rules; without them, tax paid could not be evidenced.

Delete some data, keep the account

You do not have to close the account to delete something. Most of it you can remove yourself, inside the app:

• —A goal with everything belonging to it — plans, tasks, milestones and uploaded images — is deleted from the goal's own page. It goes immediately and cannot be undone.
• —A single image is deleted with the cross next to it.
• —Preferences, your daily time and the notes about what you enjoy can be overwritten or cleared in settings.

Want to delete something the app has no button for? Write to daasa.d@seznam.cz from the address on your account and we will handle it within thirty days at the latest.

Subscription

Deleting the account ends a running subscription immediately and no further charges are made. There is no refund for the unused part of a paid period — if you want to use the period up, cancel just the subscription first and delete the account later.

If you cannot sign in

Write from the email the account was created with to daasa.d@seznam.cz. We will delete the account manually and confirm it; we handle this within thirty days at the latest.
