Business and money

Learn to sell what you do

The people leaving the most money on the table are the ones who are good at their work and cannot ask for it. Selling is not a talent — it is a skill, and it trains like any other.

What the plan does

Builds daily and weekly exercises in three strands: rehearsal alone, real exposure with people, and just enough theory to use the same week.

Who it is for

For anyone who does good work and finds it uncomfortable to name their price.

How the plan runs

  1. Practice alone

Write the offer. Rewrite the price list. Record yourself explaining in thirty seconds what you do. Not for real yet, but done properly.

  2. Practice with people, in small steps

Tell an acquaintance what you do without apologising. Ask one person for a referral. Send one message to a stranger. Then make the call.

  3. Pricing as its own thread

Say the number out loud without flinching. Raise a price with an existing client. Take “that is expensive” without it turning into a discount.

  4. Study by the spoonful

One principle a week, used immediately. Never the next chapter until the last one has been out in the world.

When you fall behind

Studying gets cut, never the small exposures with people. The whole thing rests on those.

What we will ask you

  • What do you offer?
  • What is hardest for you?
  • How do customers reach you today?

The plan is built around your answers: broken down into years, months, weeks and finally today. With rest written into it, and recalculated every time the route and reality part ways.
